Ogden Mustangs to raise money for shooting victims

OGDEN — Proceeds from non-VIP tickets for Friday’s Ogden Mustangs game at the Ice Sheet will be donated to the families of the officers involved in the shooting, according the a team press release.
“It’s a real tragedy when something like this happens in your community,” said Mustangs head coach Joe Pfleegor. “It affects everyone, and I’m glad our team has the opportunity to help in some way.”
The tickets cost $6. The Mustangs will also have silent auction items up for bid throughout the game, including commemorative game-worn jerseys. All auction proceeds will also be donated to the officers’ families.
The Mustangs are coming off a two-game sweep of Park City over the weekend.
