SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College women’s lacrosse team will host the Rocky Mountain Women’s Lacrosse League Tournament at Dumke Field on Saturday.
The tournament starts at 8 a.m. with the Division I semifinal between the No. 2 seed Colorado and the No. 3 seed BYU. The first Division II semifinal is at 10 a.m. with No. 1 Westminster facing No. 4 Utah Valley. The other semifinal is slated for noon and feature No. 2 Utah against No. 3 Wyoming.
The championship games begin at 2 p.m. with the DI title match between No. 1 Colorado State and the Colorado-BYU winner. The DII championship will begin at 4 p.m.
Tickets will be sold at the gate on Saturday. They will cost $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and Westminster alumni. Students and children tickets are $3. All current Westminster students, faculty and staff receive free admission with their school ID.
The Griffins’ and Cougars’ men’s teams will play at BYU’s North Field on Saturday at 1 p.m. The men’s tournament is slated for next month.
