Handball: one of the Olympics’ most underrated sports

I’ve always wondered why handball isn’t more popular in the United States. It’s pretty much a mashup of hockey and basketball. I saw a little in previous Olympics and wished it was on TV more.

Finally it looks like I’m not the only one taking notice. Grantland’s Bill Simmons (one of my favorite writers and bloggers) wrote a great piece on discovering handball.
