Four Utah players were selected for the United Statea High School All American team that will tour Argentina July 13-28.  They were Zach Webber (United), Calvin Whiting (United), Gabe Ruflin (Herriman), and Jesse Arias (United).

Taylor Johanson was selected to try out for the National U-20 team and seven other Utah high school players were invited to attend a camp from which the 2014 European Tour side will be selected.

Utah also sent a high school All Star team to play in the Memorial Day All Star Tournament held in San Francisco. The players got excellent experience despite losing to the Bay Area All Stars 32-12.

The Utah side did better on June 15-16 when they traveled to Seattle to participate in the Great Northwest Challenge.  On Saturday the Utah all-stars defeated the Oregon Red Hawks 28-7 and then downed Idaho 31-5. On Sunday the Utah 15s dropped a 27-6 decision to Washington. Their 2-1 record put Utah in the championship match where they once again faced the much larger Washington squad. This game was closely contested all the way, but Washington again prevailed, this time by a 14-6 score.

In the Rocky Mountain Classic High School All Star Championship in June, the Utah-North girls All Stars went 4-0 and won the tournament with victories over the APEX Mountain All Stars (Colorado) 28-10, Glendale 19-10, Texas 56-0, and Utah-South 67-5. The Utah-South team finished 1-3.
