Weber State men’s rugby club advances to playoffs for first time ever

The Wildcats have a new coach, Richard Johnson, and he and Mike have set a goal to transform the program so that it can compete with BYU and Utah.

Weber State rugby has become a club on the rise thanks, to the leadership of new president Mike Wonderli and new head coach Richard Johnson. They have set a goal to compete with BYU and Utah.

The Wildcats  destroyed Montana State 74-0 on March 22 and will now advance to the D-1AA College Playoffs for the first time.

The Wildcats will travel to Seattle to take on the University of Washington on April 18 or 19.
