Aaron Morton is a visual editor for the Deseret News — specialization in sports.

He as worked as an editor, sports writer and designer for the Deseret News, Ogden Standard-Examiner and Idaho Falls Post Register. Raised in Kaysville, Morton is a graduate of Utah State University, majoring in journalism.

A fan, player, referee, coach and amateur historian of sports, Morton has 12 years of professional newspaper experience. He resides in Layton with his wife, Vicky, and two children.
